Shipping policy

At La Chambre, we prepare and ship every order with care. Shipping timing, methods and costs may vary depending on the type of product, availability, destination, parcel size, supplier timing and whether the item is ready to ship, made to order, cut to order or supplied on request.

1. Order Processing

Orders for available items are usually prepared within 1-5 business days after order confirmation.

Orders are processed on business days only, excluding weekends, public holidays, courier closures and any periods of exceptional activity. Processing begins once the order has been confirmed and payment has been successfully received.

Made-to-order items, custom cushions, fabrics cut to order, bespoke finishes, special requests, items sourced on request and selected wallpapers or home textiles may require additional preparation time. When this applies, we will contact you with the expected timing before dispatch or as soon as the order has been reviewed.

2. Shipping Methods

We ship using selected courier and logistics partners. The available shipping option may depend on destination, product type, parcel dimensions, fragility, value and service availability.

Where possible, the available shipping options and related costs will be displayed at checkout. For special, oversized, fragile, heavy, made-to-order or international orders, shipping may need to be confirmed separately before dispatch.

3. Shipping Areas

At launch, we ship to:

  • Italy;
  • Europe, where courier service is available;
  • worldwide destinations on request, where possible and subject to confirmation.

If your location is not available at checkout, please contact us before placing the order so that we can verify whether shipping can be arranged.

4. Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times after dispatch are generally:

  • Italy: usually 2-5 business days after dispatch;
  • Europe: usually 5-10 business days after dispatch;
  • Worldwide shipping: available on request, where possible. Timing and costs will be confirmed case by case before dispatch.

These timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur during peak periods, holidays, customs checks, supplier delays, courier disruptions, adverse weather, strikes or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

5. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout where available, based on destination, parcel size, weight and service selected.

For orders requiring special handling, oversized parcels, fragile items, heavy products, multiple parcels, made-to-order goods or international delivery, shipping costs may need to be confirmed separately. If this is the case, we will contact you before dispatch.

6. Tracking

When tracking is available, you will receive tracking information after dispatch. Tracking updates are provided by the courier and may take time to appear after the parcel has been collected.

Once an order has been handed to the courier, delivery timing depends on the courier service and destination.

7. Duties and Taxes

Prices include applicable taxes where required. For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or local charges may apply and are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Customs procedures may delay delivery. La Chambre is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, import controls or local delivery procedures.

8. Delivery Address

Please check your delivery details carefully before confirming your order. The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including any apartment number, postcode, phone number or delivery instruction required by the courier.

If a parcel cannot be delivered because of an incorrect or incomplete address, missed delivery, refusal of delivery or failure to collect the parcel, any additional shipping, storage, return or re-delivery costs may be charged to the customer.

9. Receipt and Inspection

We recommend inspecting the parcel and the items as soon as possible after delivery. If the packaging appears visibly damaged, please photograph the packaging before opening it and keep all original packaging until the issue has been reviewed.

10. Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible through the contact form on the Contact page, including your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the packaging and item. You can also call +39 081 7640240.

We will review the case and arrange the most appropriate solution, which may include replacement, repair, refund, return collection or another suitable remedy, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

11. Lost or Delayed Parcels

If tracking shows an unusual delay or a parcel appears to be missing, please contact us so that we can open the appropriate checks with the courier. Investigation timing may vary depending on the courier and destination.

12. Split Shipments

Some orders may be shipped in more than one parcel or from different sources, especially where the order includes available items together with made-to-order, special order or supplier-dependent products. In such cases, items may arrive separately.

13. Special Orders and Made-to-Order Items

Special order, made-to-order, custom, cut-to-order or supplier-dependent items may have different preparation and delivery timing. Any timing communicated for these items is an estimate unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.
